1991 Vanagan Weekender Multivan

In September of 2006, I made the pilgrimage down to GoWesty to buy my very own "Westy". Lucas Valdez, who owns GoWesty located a couple in Texas that were selling exactly the Westy I was looking for: A 1987-91 blue Westfalia Weekender MV. It was a one owner van in really good condition. Once he took delivery on it, he got busy making some modifications including a rebuilt bored/stroked 2.5 liter engine, suspension lift wth Bilstein shocks, brake upgrade, BFG AT's, auxiliary battery, new sound system, Yakima racks and bunch of other goodies.

I much prefer the Mulitvan over the full camper model, because it seats 7, rather than 4 people. It's perfect for everything from car pooling the kids to and from school, to climbing and camping trips, and even the occasional reggae festival!
